Overview
The attacks of September 11, 2001 exposed to the world the vulnerabilities of the aviation industry. Since then significant efforts and investment have been made on a wide range of initiatives designed to enhance the security of commercial aviation. However it remains true that vulnerabilities in aviation security continue to pose a real and ever-present danger.
